Study & Design of Slab Restoration of Northern Runway and Taxiway of Soekarno Hatta Airport
PT Angkasa Pura II had identified damage on runway, taxiway and apron pavements at Soekarno Hatta Airport in previous studies, therefore PT Angkasa Pura II Soekarno Hatta Branch Office had appointed Lemtek UI to study and designing the northern runway and taxiway restoration of Soetta Airport. In the previous year PT. Angkasa Pura II had appointed Lemtek UI to develop the detailed engineering design overlay of runway, taxiway and apron of Soetta Airport. The overlay implementation plan in early 2017 was hampered due to runway condition, so the slab concrete pavement was needed to repair first before the overlay. The scope of work included damage Identification and survey, analysis of cracks/damage of the slab concrete pavements and also repair recommendations. The study team was led by Dr Mohammad Ikhsan for four months.
